About "Trans Sex: Conversations in Sex Therapy"

From masturbation to family planning, sexuality has an impact on our lives. In therapy with transgender clients, therapists can take creative approaches to novel challenges. This group will dive into many aspects of work with trans clients. From exploring dating, erotic fantasy, desire discrepancy, the coming out and co-transition of the relationship, to engaging participants in their own self-examination and deconstruction, Trans Sex: Conversations in Sex Therapy seeks to engage in a community exploration around sexuality while trans.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this program...

Clinicians will develop clinical assessment skills related to sex therapy with trans clients.

Attendees will learn at least four clinical exercises they can utilize with individuals and or relationships in a clinical sex therapy setting.
