Participants will learn how autism spectrum disorder, suicidality, and self-harm interconnect as a public health problem. Participants will learn about the impact of autism spectrum disorder, suicidality and self-harm on the person, their health, environment, and caregivers. Participants will learn about up to date social, biological, psychological and behavioral treatment practices for those with autism spectrum disorder with comorbid suicidality and self-harm. And participants will explore how to integrate suicide and self-harm risk assessment into their practices.
